Hi, Are you referring to making said collapsable list with javascript?
you should be carefull. I had one and with about >50 links, the javascript slowed to a halt! took 2~5 minutes to collapse/expand a link. in the end, i ended up with a non-collapseable tree. collapsable tree are good only for a tree thats only <20 links. more will make you crazy! jaime At 01:33 AM 9/11/2002 +0800, Gert Lombard wrote: >Hi Manfred, > >Here's an example of generating a list from a database. >http://codeblast.com/~gert/perl/treelist.html > >-Gert > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Sammueller.Manfred VE-V-VE [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] >> Sent: Monday, September 09, 2002 6:17 AM >> To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' >> Subject: expandable list of links >> >> >> Hello, >> >> I'm looking for a way to create a expandable/collapsable list >> of Links that >> you can flip in or out of by clicking that is generated out of a >> databasetable or a textfile. >> I'm using win2000 server IIS 5.0 and activeperl. >> I found the expander.cgi script, but I read that it only >> works with Unix??? >> Thank you for your help. >> Manfred >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Perl-Win32-Web mailing list >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs >> >_______________________________________________ >Perl-Win32-Web mailing list >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs > > _______________________________________________ Perl-Win32-Web mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
