Hello perl-xs readers,

I'm writing to you to ask a Perl for Win32 question.

We have a 3rd party instrument control library in the form of
a .dll. We'd like to be able to call routines in that .dll
from within ActiveState Perl. I gather XS provides the glue
that will let us do this.

Among other problems, the perlxstut man page has Unix-centric
parts, such as discussions of static libraries. There's also
the question of telling perl about our 3rd party dll at runtime.

Has anyone done stuff like this before?

Alternatively, does anyone know the author of this document?

Any help you could give us would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Mitch.
