Hello perl-xs readers, I'm writing to you to ask a Perl for Win32 question. We have a 3rd party instrument control library in the form of a .dll. We'd like to be able to call routines in that .dll from within ActiveState Perl. I gather XS provides the glue that will let us do this. Among other problems, the perlxstut man page has Unix-centric parts, such as discussions of static libraries. There's also the question of telling perl about our 3rd party dll at runtime. Has anyone done stuff like this before?
