I am sorry, I cannot really help you. I am in the (nearly) same situation, 
trying to put Irrlicht (irrlicht.sf.net) into Perl. Lot's of c++. So far I 
have only some feeble attempts. Any automated way of dealing with dozends 
of C++ classes (and to put them into some Perl namespace) would be 
ultra-cool.
