And yet there's no problem with resolving 'Perl_seed' (which is explicitly called in the core module Scalar::List::Utils) - despite the fact that 'Perl_seed' is mentioned in neither 'perldoc perlapi' nor 'embed.fnc'. Cheers, Rob
