[perl #123946] regclass(): fix parsing of unbraced \p
Move complement parsing out of SIZE_ONLY; ensure e and n correctly point
to the end of the property designation and the length of the property
name in each case.

[perl #123946] SWASHNEW: check for empty type
This avoids warnings when the supplied type consists only of whitespace.
