This includes some improvements to the parser to deal with "real-world data" provided by Andreas Koenig as well as a new validation routine to prevent SEGV's with badly written subclasses (also noted by Andreas). There are also a few changes to make the code more consistent with the rest of the util.c codebase (whitespace as well as Perl_* function naming conventions). I'm technically still out of the country, so don't expect to hear anything more from me until Thursday or Friday at the earliest (modulo jet lag).
