Hi All,

I have been tasked by a customer to upgrade Rakudo Start (and others things too) on seven identical computers with Windows 10-20H2
on them.

Three of them are giving me that obnoxious Windows
uninstaller error telling me it can't find its temp
files.

To get around this, dig Rakudo out of two registry locations

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

and

HKUSERS\S-1-5-21-2073374597-1341776624-1878667131-1002\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Installer\Products

Then manually delete the C:\rakudo directory.

Now you can upgrade.

If you want to use this tip on other programs, you
also have to look in

HKLM\Software\Classes\Installer\Products
