Hi All

Fedora 38

$ raku -v
Welcome to Rakudo™ v2023.06.
Implementing the Raku® Programming Language v6.d.
Built on MoarVM version 2023.06.

Has the compiler gotten really, really, really
slow lately?

What normally takes 8 seconds is now dragging on
for minutes,

$ raku -c GetUpdates.pl6

Perplexed,
-T

Found the source of the drag, but it is still slow.
