I'd much prefer someone to implement something that allows python programs to run on parrot. Not that I've ever used python, let alone hacked its innards. My reasons are: 1: I'd like some other existing mainstream language to be working 2: The impression I get is that python would be the easiest. (in that it I believe that it has external bytecode of a well-known format) 3: It ought to be easier than either (full) perl5 or (not yet fully written) perl6 However, I confess I'm not sufficiently concerned about this to actually try it. (There are too many things I still want to do with the perl5, it seems) Nicholas Clark
