I agree. Modules should commonly have long-running exhaustive tests and/or stress tests. These tests are primarily for the benefit of module maintainers; it's unreasonable to expect users to wait hours for them to run. I think this is a common enough scenario to warrant defining a standard way to do it -- which may be as simple as agreeing on a standard name of a single environment variable (I don't have enough experience to suggest a good name, however). /-\ http://mobile.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
