Thanks very much Michael. > Has anyone tried this yet? Paul, will you be adopting it? About the time this all started I skipped off to Miami for a week (Let's Go Marlins!), so that's why I haven't chipped in at all. The results so far look pretty good. It will be interesting to test it with something that gives the database a really good workout, such as TT2. I'm still a little concerned about hitting problems with Storable, so I think I'll apply the patch and then run cpancover on a bunch of modules and compare the output to that of Data::Dumper/eval. If all goes well I'll keep the patch in for the next release. I'm considering whether it would be useful to keep read only support for Data::Dumper databases, but I suspect that at the moment that is not necessary. Still, I may do something like that, if only because it helps me during debugging. I'm suffering from sleep deprivation at the moment, but I'll try this as soon as I can. Thanks again to all concerned. -- Paul Johnson - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pjcj.net
