Yeah, go ahead. Things are as they are mainly for hysterical raisins--the class/ imcc/ and whatnot directories were always separate and generated code inside them. The ops files were in the base source directory, so when they got split out I left the generated C in the base source directory mainly because, well, it didn't occur to me to generate the C elsewhere. That and it was the easiest thing to do with the least impact on the makefile generating code. History by itself's not a great reason to do sub-optimal things, though. :)
