A while ago I went on a hunt for the best Perl tool to validate XHTML files.
The best thing I found (thanks to a response from this list) seemed slightly obscure: XML::LibXML has an option to validate XML/XHTML files, although that's not the focus of the module. I made a small 'Test::' wrapper around it and am considering posting it to CPAN. I'd like feedback from the QA group before I do. The docs are here: http://mark.stosberg.com/perl/test-xml-valid.html The distribution is here: http://mark.stosberg.com/perl/Test-XML-Valid-0.02.tar.gz It should easily expand to accept lots of different inputs besides file path names. In a test today, it validated 15 XHTML files in about 1 second. Thanks! Mark -- . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
