Agreed. But dare I ask: Is anyone beginning to plot out this transition? Quite a few months back I heard terms like 'autoconf' and 'miniparrot' mentioned -- but I haven't hear anything lately.
It would be good to have some minimal preliminary discussion as to how we will do this, as that might have an impact on how we shape file-based configuration.
