For the way Rakudo Star is packaged. I've been trying to compile various other Open Source packages, and encountering a world of frustration. Everything seems to resolve into an endless regression of obscure dependencies, with bits missing. For one, the first step was installing a variant of "make". Another was missing some header files.
In contrast Rak* just downloads and installs. Good work, people.
