As the founder of the Niceville Perl Mongers (one member so far), I presume to speak for our little town in Northwest Florida and say we are proud to be recognized and are honored to have the first beta release of Rakudo Perl 6 named for the town and our chapter. I will let the mayor and the local papers know and get some free publicity for our small Linux group and even smaller Perl group. Note that we are right across the bay from the beach resort town of Destin, Florida, and near other wonderful beach resort towns, any of which would be a great place for a Perl gathering someday.
