Surprisingly, not only did it not error, it seemed to work. I wonder if it
didn't rebuild parrot:
$ perl Configure.pl --gen-parrot --parrot-option="--without-icu"
<SNIP>
$ make -j3
<SNIP>
$ ./perl6 -e 'my $x = "\x[5ea]\x[5ea]"; $x++; say $x.perl'
"תת"
$ ./perl6 -e 'my $x = "\x[5ea]\x[5ea]"; $x++; say try { $x.perl }'
