Ok. Now comes the fun part. What program should be used on cygwin to
create a shared library? Make sure that's correctly set in
config/init/hints/cygwin.pl. From my reading of the perl5 README.cygwin,
I would have thought that 'ld2' would be the correct answer. However, if
'gcc' is indeed the correct answer, then you'll have to add
lddlfags => '-shared'
to config/init/hints/cygwin.pl.
