Well, it just > so happened to be in front of me on my desk :-) > without addressing any individual points, i'd like to point out that although PDD22 has been approved, it hasn't yet been implemented. also, the design of asynchronous i/o hasn't begun. some of the items you mention in the file will likely be fixed or filled in during implementation of the spec, and others will be addressed during the asynchronous i/o design. the remainder can likely be addressed now. since implementation can start any day now, it's a great time to bring up these points so they're corrected, understood, or otherwised addressed as development begins. ~jerry
