The file include/atomic/gcc_x86.h contains executable code. The attached patch moves this code out into a new file src/atomic/gcc_x86.c. make test passes, so things look ok to make this move from this standpoint, however I'd like some more people's opinions as to whether or not this is a good thing to do. So, comments definitely welcome. If noone complains, (or even better if someone recommends this patch) then I'll commit the patch in about 3 days. Paul
