I've had it on my hiveminder todo list for over a month now. The problem is, it's not only a matter of annoying fiddly bookkeeping work now, it's also annoying fiddly bookkeeping work eternally into the future. And, it doesn't actually solve the original problem of knowing when a PDD was significantly updated, because whoever edited the PDD might have just forgotten to update the manual date stamp.
So, ticket rejected. The only authoritative information on revisions to a PDD is the commit logs.
