So where are we at with the various date-time RFCs and the discussion of better ways of handling time inside Perl? There was a proposal to use TAI and Dan Bernstein's libtai as the basis of time handling inside Perl. I think this is a good idea, and the next obvious step would seem to be to write an RFC for this proposal.
