I'm so happy! I just found out, totally by accident, that I can type the « and » characters by pressing AltGr + Z and AltGr + X, respectively.
Apologies if this is common knowledge, but it was news to me, and I thought I'd share this little Perl6 of wisdom. Your mileage may vary, of course, but now that I know that it's been hiding there in my keyboard all along and I didn't need to do anything special to set it up, I don't feel so uneasy about it being a Perl 6 operator.
