No, as far as we know, Larry's fine! Just not that active anymore, effectively retired. And known to not be very responsive to emails. So it felt like a good idea to make sure that a. he won't be bothered by unnecessary emails, and b. that people with questions will add an issue to the repo or so, instead of asking question in an email that most likely will not get an answer.
