This is not my idea of recent files, but when opening any file, the next time you try to open any file, it should start >From last path.
This way if you open ur script, and then close padre and reopen it again - you don't have to go all the way to that path. Also, when opening multiple files using different padre editor, it is much easier when it remembers the last path I like to work on 3 or more files at the same time, while they are opened with different editors This way I can use Alt+Tab and not Ctrl+Tab or just put the editors one above the other Thanks Chanan -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gabor Szabo Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 4:00 PM To: Perl in Israel Subject: Re: [Israel.pm] Padre: another feature needed On Tue, Feb 3, 2009 at 2:40 PM, Chanan Berler <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All, > > One of the things I hate on Perl Express and wanted to change: > > When I opened a file, no matter when in my disk I opened it, worked for a > while and closed the editor. > I then remember I needed to change something, the "open file" browser never > remembered from where I opened the file.means > I needed to go all the path when I saved my file and open it... > > Just minor issue, but important one - see Textpad, once opened any file, it > will remember the last path from where I opened the files. > Much easier to set on folder for all my scripts, and forget it (not my > script, but the whole path to it..:-)) are you looking for File/Recent Files ?
