Hello all "Lushen Koidesh" speakers!

The problem I have is when I "print" Hebrew to the STDOUT device. It is
shown as "gibberish." (BTW, re-directing it to a file and opening it in a
UTF-8 compatible editor shows the Hebrew fine, thank you!)

I am not sure that this is a problem of Perl per-se. It is quite possible
that it is a command window issue, but may be you folks have successfully
dealt with this issue before.

As stated succinctly by Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821083):

"This behavior is by design. Arabic and Hebrew (and for that matter Thai,
Hindi, and other complex scripts) are not supported on Windows 2000 and
Windows XP console."

There is a PowerShell command shell from the same esteemed corporation. Was
anybody successful in using it to display Hebrew?

Regards
Meir
