I was not aware of the sf restriction about files. It looks like oddmuse supports a LaTeX mode, images, tables, ... and appears to be "trivially" available. ;-)
I vote for setting one up so we can get to work on the book(s) and tutorials revisions. The sooner we start the better. Other discussion threads have already emphasized how a lack of introductory info and docs makes for a steep learning curve to folks trying to start with PDL.
