-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
I use cquant of PDL::ImageRGB to reduce the colours in a 8-bin image. Now I stumble over the problem that the support is limited to a maximum colour number of 256. But I have to reduce the images to more colours (Limit 4081 colours). Is there a way to reduce the colours to that colour map of 4081 colours? More over it would be nice to select if and how to dither the image to fit the colour limit. I need to do that in a save filter of gimp. So I will have most of the full power of gimp to do that. The only problem is that I cannot convert the full image as I need to handle the layers different depending where they are in the stack.
