Well, I was sort of considering making SciKarl so that it was a completely
local installation with it's own perl inside the User's directory, but then
I'd have to maintain my own perl and all the modules for *that*, and
although it's okay for me, it breaks the main purpose of SciKarl, i.e. 'one
click and it's done'.

I guess you could add an option for 'which perl distribution do you want to
put SciKarl into' but that's now waaay beyond my resources.
