Whoo hoo! I think I found a great free alternative to the Futura font used by Kishor and Christian:
Luz Sans font, also known as HP New Futura, is the corporate typeface of Hewlett-Packard. It is a professional font (duh) that highly resembles Futura. You can see what it looks like here: http://pdl.perl.org/images/fonts.png Here you can see the original "pdl>" from P.Kishor and below it my rendition using LuzSans. Personally I like the ">" from LuzSans better. Except for Kishor's logo, all the text on this page is in LuzSans, so you can get a feel for what the font is like. As for the license, I've read that it is in the public domain, but I'd like to confirm that. What I can say for sure is that Canonical distributes it as a free font, and they packaged it themselves: http://netbook-remix.archive.canonical.com/updates/pool/public/l/luzsans-ttf/ What do you think?
