Ah, found it. Sorry, I just didn't see how the white was made, but I see it now.

The attached file shows the "pdl>" both plain (sans white) and with
the white to make the infinity symbol. Yes, I can see the infinity
symbol better in the one with white, but I can see the "p" and the "d"
more clearly in the plain.

Thoughts?
