Definitely (fixed). This is actually a web standard and I should have
done it a while ago. I just didn't notice.

I'm flexible on that point. Does the banner provide something very
useful that is worth keeping like that? One issue with frames is that
there is less space left for the page content. But I don't have strong
feelings one way or the other.

That's a good idea. This mainly affects the documentation pages. I
just implemented a quick fix: Now all <h1> headers on documentation
pages (i.e. NAME, DESCRIPTION, etc) have a "top" link.

I'm open to the idea. I think it's a sensible idea for the Install
page, since it is more consistent with the front page. I am less sure
about the Tutorials and the mailing lists (aka Help) pages. Those two
pages are very short, do they really need a dashboard? It seems
awkward to use top-level links when the entire page fits on the screen
anyway.

Here is my best attempt at turning the install page into a dashboard:

I added the extra information for each OS because the page looks very
empty otherwise. What do you think? Is this what you had in mind?

Ok. I'll add something later (I'm going out).

I hesitate to duplicate links. I've been trying to keep the sidebar
somewhat compact. I'm not saying "no", but give me a day to think
about it.

Daniel.
