Hi,
I made the install with cpan and got the install, but with this seemingly harmless error:

The module seems to work and non issue on the ide after the 'use' directive.

Hi Fabio,

I haven't uploaded ppm packages for PDL-Graphics-Simple because I haven't yet had the time and energy to get it working to my satisfaction. (At least, that was the case last time I tried.)

I'll try to get that sorted this coming week.

In the meantime, if you have 'dmake' (which you'll find on CPAN) installed and in your path, then you should be able to install PDL::Graphics::Simple yourself by running:
cpan -i PDL-Graphics-Simple

Otherwise, just use the graphics module of your choice directly (instead of via PDL-Graphics-Simple).

Note that PDL-Graphics-Simple is pure perl - it doesn't need a C compiler to build.

Cheers,
Rob

Hi,
I have no experience and more I do not have an environment to build the
module.

I would be happy to help if sisyphus or some other qualified person
could give an access to a 'for port' environment or give insights on how
to create a reliable one.

Thanks

There definitely is!

I do not have activeperl, so I'm a bit at your mercy. Would you be willing to try to build it, and forward any error messages? If you're able to get it built, patches are welcome -- but I'd also be happy to iterate with you to get it going.

Cheers,
Craig

Hi all,
I see that the module does not build on windows activeperl and I do not see it (as for the previous) on the sisyphus ppm.

Is there some plan or attempt to get it working?

Thanks
