Please reconsider.

We've discussed a number of less ways that would keep
PDL::FFTW3 working (some admittedly less than optimal)
rather than breaking for PDL users on 32bit boxes.

If one is in a situation where forced upgrade of a large
dependency distribution is not an option, even a rebuild
the plan every time fix if documented on how to use it
is still preferable.

This approach is what keeps "most packages" from
continuing to "just work" over time. It takes effort
to keep PDL usable.

A similar type of effort to that of Debian or any major
distribution and why they have multiple versions of
their platforms and packages for support.
