just have finished my part - Prima-1.40 is out!
Also, 1.40 now has this functionality you wanted:
Prima::ImageViewer->new(stretch => 1)
shows an image stretched out, and without scrollbars. I think it
is better that way rather than a separate class, because of other small tricks
that ImageViewer can do (borders, palettes, showing loading progress etc).
