Pesan seperti ini sudah sangat tidak masuk akal dan walaupun tanggal
pelaporan di NY Times adalah 19 November 1998, saya sangat ragu apakah
memang begitu adanya. Logika telor kecoak masuk ke saliva gland adalah
sangat tak masuk akal apalagi berinkubasi di situ. Gimana mas Nasrullah
Idris, in house scientist kita. Telor kecoak masuk mulut yah akan terus
dicerna sampai lumat. Bukankah begitu. Saya belum sempat ngecheck ke
daftar Urban Legends and Virus Hoaxes. Mungkin rekan lain bisa tolong
lihatkan.
Usul saya untuk tidak memforward urban legends seperti ini, karena lepas
dari anda suka atau tidak suka Taco Bell (semula saya kira perusahaan
telepon Meksiko :-)), berita seperti ini akan mempengaruhi orang-orang yang
naive ataupun pengetahuan umumnya agak terbatas.
Saya suka membaca forward-forward anda yang lain, juga gelitik-gelitik
topik yang merangsang pemikiran.
