Selamat malam DC,

Saya ikut mendukung 100% IDE agar mahasiswa dan masyarakat Indonesia di DC
area ikut menyampaikan sikapnya dalam sidang tahunan WB/IMF 16/17 April
besok, baik itu secara tertulis maupun dengan ikut dalam rangkaian aksi di
depan gedung WB/IMF

Tapi saya masih belum 100% sepakat /mengerti (apalagi sampai 1000%) dengan
beberapa point dalam petisi Pak Chris/kita ini(petisi ini menjadi petisi
kita karena Permias DC secara resmi telah menyatakan dukungannya).

Yg menjadi pernyataan bagi saya :
1. Apakah dengan menyampaikan petisi ini kita juga resmi mendukung/endorse
posisi dari Mobilization for Global Justice yg direfer dalam surat petisi
ini ? Posisi mereka dapat dilihat di
http://www.a16.org/form_endorsement.html

Dan apakah Permias DC akan ikut mengendorse posisi ini ? Apabila iya Faran
mungkin bisa langsung ke site itu dan menyatakan dukungannya.
Kemudian untuk aksi Minggu/Senin apakah sudah ada kordinasi dengan pihak
organizer ? Jangan sampai kita kena apesnya kalo kita nanti kurang
persiapan. Setahu saya pihak2 yg akan ikut berdemo telah ikut beberapa kali
briefing dan latihan di markas Mobilization for Global Justice di Florida
Avenue.

2. Point 1 & 5 dari segi isi saya setuju. Tapi apa benar alamatnya ke WB/IMF
dan bukannya langsung ke GOI.

3. Point 3 saya setuju 150%.

4. Point 2, secara moral saya setuju bahwa WB/IMF bisa dikatakan ikut
bertanggungjawab membawa Indonesia dalam jurang kehancuran. Tapi saya sangat
bingung dengan point 4. Mungkin ada yg bisa lebih menjelaskan maksud dari
point ini dan apakah memang feasible untuk menuntut lembaga2 ini ? Who is
going to get what ? How much ? Who should be given priority ? dan segudang
pertanyaan/keraguan yg laen.

Segitu saja dulu deh.
