The 2002 AT&T Leadership Award is now open for enrollment. There are 30
US$4,000 awards given to successful finalists for use towards educational
expenses (there are no obligations to AT&T associated with the awards). The
AT&T Leadership Award is made available to students from Australia, The
People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, The Republic
of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan (Republic of
China) and Thailand.
To qualify, all applicants must commence first year studies in a full-time
undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or
university in the United States between January and September 2002. English
language learners with probationary acceptance at a U.S. college or
university to pursue a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree by
September 2002 are also eligible. You also must be a citizen/PR of one of
these 13 countries/regions in Asia/Pacific: Australia, China, Hong Kong,
India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand,
Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
