Okay All You Perps-
Happy New Year, hope there's lots of great fishing and fish stories in the coming year. As you all know, yesterday was the deadline for getting flies in for the swap (wow, how time flies!). If there is not an asterisk (*) by your name on Perp Swap website www.geocities.com/jodemior2000 then your flies have not been received. If you haven't mailed them, please do so as soon as possible.
With this in mind, I will extend the deadline for the swap by a few days. This will also allow me to do some catching up on the website including doing pix and posting recipes. I am taking a week off work from the 6th thru the 14th of January. The wife and I are going to the coast for a well deserved break for a few of those days, but I will still have time to get the swap whipped into shape for the Great Mail Out of 2003! The mailout date will be the 20th of January, I had aimed for mid-month, so this is only a few days more. I hope everyone will bear with me on this, extensions seem to be pretty commonplace for swaps, so I don't feel too awful about doing this, hope it doesn't cause any heartburn for anybody.
The mailing groups will be posted on the website and I will send an email to all you Perps and keep things as updated as I can. If you stll want to be in the Swap, please get your flies to me ASAP. A dozen flies ain't that many. If you miss out, you'll be sorry, there are some spectacular flies in the boxes from some of the best tyers on VFB. If you've chosen to drop out for some reason, please let me know so I won't be waiting on flies that will never arrive.
