Personally, I don't understand the point in just
putting a stop to it. Sooner or later the boxes will move or they won't
move, but that's what I expected coming into the swap. Unfortunately a
number of problems have come up and several people have been helpful in trying
to resolve them, but the perp swap seems to be too big for any human to
oversee. I'd like to see the swap continue indefinitely as was originally
intended, but perhaps watching it closely and managing it would be best
neglected in favor of just letting the boxes travel and the perpetuation of the
swap go on with the assumption that the person who receives the box will do the
right thing and take personal responsibility for moving it along at least to
*somebody*?

? Time for an update.
I hate to say this, but it looks like the Perp swap has gone to
H*** in a handbasket. If everyone has received at least one box, then maybe
it's time to halt this swap for good.
Roger Cotner has done an
admirable job of holding this thing together and I have helped by keeping a
complete copy of the lists and have shared them with those of you who had
misplaced your list, so you'd know "who", "what", "how" and "where".
So far, I've only received the Central US box, (white), and
nothing else. I'm happy with what I've received, but tired of the endless
waiting and not knowing where the other boxes are. Seems to me like the
longer the swap continues, the more confusing it has become. It's kind of like
going to a WalMart store and being blind. You know the stuff is there
somewhere, but you just don't know where.
These are my sentiments
only. I do not speak for other Perps. Just my 2 cents
worth.
