Good Evening All-

Rumors to the contrary, I'm still around. Just been having a very, very difficult time in my personal life for the past several months. I hope all of you will please accept my humble apologies for not taking care of my obligations as Swapmeister once the swap got going. I won't bore you with the details of my personal life, only to say that things are better and are getting better.

Thank you, Roger, for stepping in to take up the slack and keeping things moving. There's an offlist email for you that will be on the way soon. I can' begin to tell you how much I appreciate all that you've done. The White Box is now in my hands, apparently it arrived on Thursday the 9th. I was out of town for a three day conference and didn't get back until late yesterday afternoon.

I'm truly humbled and gratified by how well the swap has progressed. You are all a truly amazing group of people. The incredible variety and styles of flies and the increase in the total number in the box is staggering. Thank you all. I will be forwarding the flies to Wes Wada in Bend on Monday. If I can arrange to meet with him, I will hand them over to him in person, if not, I will put them in the mail. If I mail them, he should have them by the day after they're sent or the next day at the latest, in other words by middle of next week.
