ok, then it WAS for technical reasons you couldn't use my font. I'm
learning!

So should the Netscape (and many others) developers be told to fix their
browsers to make the diacrics display properly as with IE or should the
font makers (even the core fonts like Arial/Times NR) be told to fix their
fonts and do whatever Borna has just done to their fonts?

But Nazanin is a TTF font. I thought you just said you can't install??
Even if they do release a font (and I'm looking forward to it with much
eagerness!) the users will still have to download and install on
whatever set up they have unless they
can be embedded which may be very expensive for non-Weft situations.
And the Mac people have to really suffer to convert the font.
I see hope for the future but I need "here & now" solutions!

ok. I am looking right now! Like BBC, it's functional. Information is
conveyed. But your font has an Arabic flavor, no diacritics in sight, no
heh+hamzeh. The font of the Persian appears smaller than the English
words in the same size font. I will have to trouble myself to enlarge the
font size to see properly. I'd prefer scroll bar on the right.
Now, all these things are not NECESSARY, especially as suits your content
but I don't think they can be called luxury items either !(And hope I
didn't hurt your feelings. I certainly know what it's like to
try and put up a page to help people and then only get bashed for it:) )

Thank you! I will!

When I first started out, the people in your country who were giving
me advice wanted to know why I don't just only concern myself with making
things work with Microsoft products since they are so *cheap* and easily
available and can produce wonderful results! "Just upgrade, what's the
problem?" They couldn't understand. And now I'm hearing the opposite from
you. LOL! Can't please anyone!

Thanks! I'll send you off-line as I don't like to monopolize the group
with my personal problems so much (although I hope I'm at least providing
some entertainment!)

Yeah, I'm trying not to sink!
