Dear Sir, I found your email address in Internet and it seems that you have some experiences about Farsi Applications. I have following problem in this regard and I will be really grateful if you guide me or show me a start point.
I am going to implement an application with Visual Basic.Net included some Rich text or Text Edit controls for Farsi data entry purpose. I want to have Farsi data entry by end user in many platforms like Windows 98 ( English and Farsi windows) and windows 2000 and XP. I have used some Farsi tools in my project and my user can write Farsi in win2000 via using for example Alt+Shift keys. But when i install my application in Windows 98 English version this feature is not available while my application works properly in win2000. It is notable that I prefer that user be able to type farsi without using Alt+Shift Keys. I am going to implement a feature for searching in database therefor my application has to be able to get data from user in Farsi. Kindly I will be very thankful if you help me.
