Hi Sina,

I've got some experience doing that, but I'm not yet convinced
that people should start designing schemas from scratch. I
believe one should start from Docbook or something like that.

Check out POEML's Blog (http://markupware.com/poeml/).

You should consider contacting Omid Milani <omilani at yahoo.com <http://lists.sharif.edu/mailman/listinfo/persiancomputing>> or
<omid at khushe.ir <http://lists.sharif.edu/mailman/listinfo/persiancomputing>>. He's THE guy for your work. He an expert in
XML technology, and has designed Persian schemas for such things
like plays, articles, poetry, etc.

Thanks. It will help a lot.

BTW, one experience I've got from working on http://rira.ir/ is that there's no such thing as a "beyt". I mean, a poem is a sequence of verses, just that. There should be no element called "beyt" in your schema. I know it's a bit controversial, I don't insist on it, feel free.

That's an excellent web site. In fact, I looked for such web site prior to launching POEML. I'll carefully check it out. Is there eventually a colophon for rira.ir?
