dear list members
i have windows 2000 and office 2000, both in english, and have enabled right-to-left languages and farsi in the windows regional settings and in the office tools language settings. result: i can basically type in farsi, but in excel weird things happen, e.g. if i type a period or right parentheses, they are put at the beginning instead of at the end of the word where i want them (even though the cursor was in the right place!). or if i delete the first (rightmost) letter, afterwards the last (leftmost) letter in the word is missing! etc. it's impossible to work this way, so any help is appreciated! by the way, this is independent of the font used.
