It is possible. You simply should switch to a Persian keyboard and type your text. I seem to remember that some versions of MS Powerpoint did not support right-to-left text properly (I don't remember exactly what the problem was). A very good alternative to MS Powerpoint is the OpenOffice.org (www.openoffice.org) version 1.1.3.
