Sorry for my lack of response lately, been preparing for a trip.  I'm
using peruser in production though, so there's no danger whatsoever of
it being abandoned.

I've had several reports of this.  It's not happening for me though and
I don't know what's causing it.  Once I get back from my trip (in a
couple weeks) I hope to have some time to do some testing, and update it
for the latest version of apache.  But my clients are already planning
more work for me so I don't know if that'll happen too soon.
