Same problem here. My Apache 2.0.55 segfaults if I
- have a virtual host without 'ServerEnvironment' directive
- have a 'ServerEnvironment' directive without chroot directory given
Maybe one of these causes your problem.

A little background.. I'm not much of a programmer, but I am familiar with
Linux as an OS. The strange thing is if I uncomment #define
MPM_PERUSER_DEBUG, everything seems to work fine (haven't really tested it
yet though). I suppose maybe it's just luck...
I'm using Apache 2.0.55 (source build from httpd.apache.org) on CentOS 4.3
x64
Any ideas?
