Checked what version I use : port in FreeBSD is be up-to-date with DC3
patch. So I may be able to use an identical configuration file, except
for ${APACHE_RUN_USER} which is not defined on FreeBSD.

Unfortunately, is still does not work...
Furthermore, I have not found much documentation about peruser, and
didn't know there were specific configurations for DC3 patch...

Tried, but still get the same error, with same backtrace in core dump,
which seems to indicate the error happens when creating a child thread.
This is not a solution, but I'll try to have it run an a debian, juste
for testing...
I've read that peruser was designed for Linux, and was not intended to
work on FreeBSD or any other OS... Didn't find much information about
peruser on FreeBSD though.
Thanks for your help, I'm not giving up yet ^^
