Hi, I'm using 0.4.0rc2 patch with this configuration:
IdleTimeout 60 ExpireTimeout 300 MinSpareProcessors 0 MaxSpareProcessors 0 MinSpareServers 1 MinProcessors 0 MaxProcessors 50 ServerLimit 10000 MaxClients 1000 MaxRequestsPerChild 1000 MinMultiplexers 1 MaxMultiplexers 100 MultiplexerIdleTimeout 0 ProcessorWaitTimeout 10 10 I have more than 1,000 vhosts and apachectl restart is very slow. After some hours, many httpd processes are running, more than 1,000, but many are idle processors. How can I configure peruser to shut down idle processors after 10 minutes and start again only if necessary?
